Where do the prices come from?
From the open data of Italy's Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT), reported by the station operators and downloaded every morning. Gaspare is an independent service, not affiliated with any government body.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No: no account, no cost. The Pro subscription is optional and adds features — it never takes away anything that's already free.
Are the prices up to date?
We download them every morning and every page shows the date. If the ministry skips a day we say so: these are the prices operators declare, so the sign at the pump is always worth a look.
Does Gaspare track me?
No accounts and no analytics SDKs: your location stays on your phone. For advertising we ask your permission — say no and ads stay generic, and the app works just the same.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes. Prices download once a day and stay on the phone: Gaspare still answers in a tunnel or with no signal.
