Privacy Policy
In two lines. Gaspare has no accounts and uses no analytics tools. If you consent, ads are chosen around your interests; if you decline they stay generic, and the app works just the same. Your location is used to work out distances and stays on your phone. The only data that leaves the device is what advertising and purchases require. No data reaches a server of ours.
This document explains how MinuSoftware processes the personal data of people using the Gaspare app and the gaspare.app website, under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
1. Data controller
MinuSoftware — support@gaspare.app. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the conditions of GDPR art. 37 do not apply.
2. What we don't do
- There is no account: we don't ask for your email, name or phone number.
- We use no analytics SDKs and no behavioural statistics tools.
- We track nothing unless you have said yes: on iOS Apple's permission prompt appears, in Europe the consent form. If you decline, advertising stays generic.
- We sell data to nobody.
3. Your location
The app asks for your location only while in use, to sort stations by distance and centre the map. The calculation happens on your device: the coordinates are sent neither to our servers nor to third parties, and no history of your movements exists. You can refuse: the app keeps working, showing prices without sorting them by proximity.
4. Data that stays on your device
Stored locally, never sent anywhere, deleted when you uninstall the app:
- preferred fuel, search radius, filters and theme;
- stations saved to favourites;
- the Logbook: fill-ups, litres, amounts and vehicle details;
- your subscription status, so it works offline too.
5. Advertising (free version)
The free version shows banners through Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers and ad-interaction data for third-party advertising purposes.
Ads are personalised only if you have consented, and are not used to profile you or follow you outside the app. With Gaspare Pro advertising disappears and, if you are a subscriber at launch, the ad SDK is not even initialised.

6. Gaspare Pro subscriptions
Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play: we neither see nor keep payment data. To recognise subscribers we use RevenueCat, which processes the purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier generated by the app, not linked to your identity.

7. Price data
Prices come from MIMIT open data and contain no personal data. The app downloads them in bulk, the same for everyone: downloading prices does not reveal where you are, because we make no location-based requests.
8. The gaspare.app website
The website uses no cookies and has no analytics tools. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data (IP address) for security and to deliver the pages. One asset comes from a third party (jsDelivr, for the animated graphic on the home page): your IP address is therefore visible to that provider. The typefaces, once served by Google, have been hosted by us since 16 August 2026. Details in the Cookie Policy.

10. Retention
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Subscription data follows the terms of RevenueCat and the stores.
11. Transfers outside the European Union
Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare may also process data in the United States, on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the mechanisms set out in Chapter V of the GDPR.
12. Your rights
You can exercise your rights under GDPR articles 15–22 — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection — by writing to support@gaspare.app. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
13. Children
Gaspare is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
14. Changes
If this policy changes substantially, the new version is published here with an updated date and flagged in the app's release notes.
